I’m about to conclude my rocks and minerals unit and just had to fit in some more engaging activities that I knew my students would love! The unfortunate thing is that I don’t have any samples of rocks and minerals that are provided, so having the students interact with them and discover their properties is kind of out of the question. Instead, I tried to use the internet to help me out to engage my students. The other day we went to the computer lab to do the Rocks and Minerals Internet Scavenger Hunt that I created for my class last year. I posted a list of questions with links on my class website and allowed my students to use them to find the answers to the questions on the answer sheet I made for them. This activity is part of a larger Rocks and Minerals product I have for sale in my TpT store.
