**In the upcoming years, educators will be using the Common Core standards in both math and reading. In preparation, I have been digging deeper into the math standards over the past few days. Overall, the standards, using the Everyday Math program, should be pretty easy to meet through the lessons; however, I was looking for a way to specifically assess each standard on its own.**

I spent 2 days on this next resource. This document contains 25 different assessments…one for each standard. Each assessment contains four different problems that meet the standard. This should be no means replace all other assessments you do throughout the year, but could be used at the end of math units in addition to the end of the unit test.

**Here are two sample pages. If you’d like to see a more comprehensive preview of the assessments, please visit my TpT store and download the preview. I would also be happy to create an assessment packet for your grade level. Just leave me a comment and we can talk more about what you would like.**

I teach students with special needs at the 3rd and 4th grade level but their needs require that I use the 2nd grade Everyday Math Series. How much would you want to do the same thing using the second grade standards?

Did you want these same common core standards or something similar designed for Everyday Math? I actually have these Common Core assessments for grades 1-5 and am now working on grade 6. You can see them at my store.
